Give Back: Volunteer Spotlight
Stanley Park Ecology Society
Spring is the busiest season at Stanley Park — heron nesting, bird counts, trail restoration, and habitat work all ramp up at once. The Stanley Park Ecology Society runs regular volunteer programs for tree planting, trail maintenance, and wildlife monitoring. If you're already heading to the park to see the herons, this is a natural next step.
Evergreen — Community Garden Builds
Evergreen works on urban greening projects across Vancouver — community garden builds, habitat restoration, and neighbourhood green space. Spring is when most of their hands-on projects kick off, and they welcome drop-in volunteers as well as regular commitments.
That's the Scoop for this week. See you out there, Vancouver.
